Translink’s website still indicates that it will complete phase 2 of its UBC Line Rapid Transit Study in Fall 2012 and early 2013. Hopefully, a preferred alternative has been identified and the results of this phase will be presented soon. Maybe this event is a response to the reporting of the results of phase 2 of the study?
From Translink’s website:
“Technical work is nearing completion and we’ll report back to you on this work soon. The results will then be presented to decision makers at TransLink and the Province, who will use these results, consultation outcomes, and advice from the study partners (City of Vancouver, UBC, University Endowment Lands and Metro Vancouver) to identify a preferred alternative.”
It looks like phase 2 of Translink’s UBC Line Rapid Transit Study have been posted on the Urban Development Institute website:
